The Larmer Tree Gardens festival looks set for an incredible year kicked off by a headline set from Geese on the Thursday night.

End of the Road have confirmed Geese as the fourth headline act of their 2026 lineup. They are of course the most talked-about indie band of the past twelve months, but they have also established themselves as one of the best live bands over the past few years, making this is a huge addition an already tantalising bill from the Larmer Tree Gardens festival. They join fellow headliners Pulp, CMAT and Mac DeMarco, who will together make for a dynamic series of flagship shows across the weekend, which this year runs from 3rd to 6th September.
This statement of intent is echoed up and down the lineup, where other leading highlights, typical of the festival’s eclectic mixture of the best alternative music, include Super Furry Animals, caroline, Earl Sweatshirt & MIKE, Kurt Vile, Ty Segall and Fat Dog. We are also looking forward to seeing YHWH Nailgun, fresh off the release of enthralling new album ‘Magazine’, fellow New Yorker james K, Angine de Poitrine and Derya Yıldırım.
Along with its capacity to draw these kinds of names, End of the Road is sustained by some of the most exciting rising acts aspiring to these heights (many festivalgoers will remember Geese’s appearance in the Big Top back in 2023). Among these are some of our recent festival circuit favourites such as Folk Bitch Trio, Model/Actriz, PVA, Modern Woman and PISS. Then, of the many other acts we are hoping to catch in the festival’s idyllic setting, a few include Another Country $$$$, Alice Costelloe, big long sun, The New Eves’ Nina Winder-Lind, Pollyfromthedirt, SILVERWINGKILLER, Spanish Horses and TTSSFU. Along with all of these are some favourite returners including Jeffrey Lewis, Kiran Leonard, Silver Gore and Ryan Davis and the Roadhouse Band.
All in all, this is set to be an incredibly densely packed edition of one of our favourite UK festivals, completed by a stellar set of headliners. Geese opening proceedings on the Thursday night will set the tone for a buzzing weekend in those heady last weeks of the summer.
