Today we’re premiering the new video for Quiet Room by Multiples, the South London band finding a creative streak within the confines of lockdown living to record a touching visual accompaniment to the track.
If you caught their debut single Tall Trees, released in June, you’ll know the band’s Antidotes-era Foals pop charm and leftfield mindset. Quiet Room, the four-piece’s new release and their first on London tastemakers Permanent Creeps Records, is a beast of it’s own. Quiet Room offers a less anxious energy that their debut, merging playful lounge pop with the sharp lyrical tongue of Tom Short.
The band’s electronic energy doesn’t go unnoticed, as their new single veers off it’s pop tracks on occasions to signal a deeper electronic-based sound with warped vocal textures, lurking stage left. The London band’s opening arguments are varied, detailed and strong, we can’t wait to hear what they release next. Find the band on Spotify here.
