Cut from their recent album, Wax Machine unveil a groove-tinged, psych-forest-folk experience.
from their criminally underrated and truly excellent debut album, Earthsong of Silence, released in March this year via Beyond Beyond is Beyond Records, Brighton based Wax Machine have unleashed a sprawling psychedelic visualiser to Truth.
Wonderful saccharine vocals coat the sonic odyssey that is Truth. Accompanied by a groove-tinged bass drive, the band’s new release delves into rootsy, psych-forest-folk with speckles of jazz, fluttering flutes and the occasional cameo of fuzzed-out guitars.
A psychedelic stew of Goat, Babe Rainbow and label mates Kikagaku Moyo – along with seminal 60’s legends Ultimate Spinach and The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band – Truth is the ultimate audio companion to a summer woodland walk. Wax Machine will take their psychedelic and sun-kissed sounds across Europe in 2021, experience Earthsong of Silence here for a sign of what to expect.
