The band are currently separated between Brighton and Bristol, but that hasn’t stopped the natural buzz around Norman’s debut release. Snappily entitled ‘Mixtape Vol 1 (Songs from the basement, The Old England etc), the new outfit employ a chaotic mix of dissonant brass instruments, off-kilter rhythms and lyrics that roll between Salt & Shake crisps and crippling anxiety.

We got in touch to talk about the #saveourvenues campaign, DIY music in Bristol and the obsessive nature behind their first release.
