Norwegian artist Magnus Bechmann enters with swirling psych-pop new single ‘What Do You Know’.

‘What Do You Know’ is a pop song, the sort of pop song which should be in the charts. I’d love to live in a world where that was the case, rather than the over produced electronic music we’re spoon-fed at alarming rates void of soul.

Magnus Bechmann has returned with his first release since 2017, a year which saw the release of standout EP ‘Loners Get Lonely Too’. Bringing together the intricate guitar quirks of early Two Door Cinema Club and the soaring choruses of Phoenix, the Norwegian artist finds an addictive indie pop formula of his own.

‘What Do You Know’ is a stop-start gem build around a wall of lo fi-sounding guitars and tight bass rhythms, drums build and provide space for a chorus that Kevin Parker himself could float on.
