Cut from their ‘Organic Noise Kitchen’ EP, Oxford’s Self Help unveil the video for new single ‘Get On With It’.
The four-piece’s new video was shot and directed in an Oxford skate park by filmmaker Zak Watson in June of this summer. The track, a stand out punk-infused garage rock gem from their latest EP ‘Organic Noise Kitchen’, enjoyed radio play with 6 music’s Steve Lamacq.
‘Get On With It’ is as furious a number as you will have heard all year, lightning-paced guitars and a bass line that never stops pushing the track forward. The drums are hard-hitting and provide a solid backbone for the playful vocal delivery of Danny Jeffries, which provides a warmth to what is a ferocious sonic assault.
The Oxford band have spent their summer playing alongside the likes of hotly-tipped newcomers Squid, The Murder Capital and Egyptian Blue as well as a slot at Truck Festival. ‘Get On With It’ is released tomorrow (13.09.19) alongside it’s superb visual counterpart.
