Venture Lows release ‘Brenda‘ via Telharmonium records. The label was started as an output for the The Magic Gang, but has since seen stellar releases by psych rockers Crows and Model Man.
The band is comprised of two bassists and a guitarist, giving the east Londoners a unique low end attack on their own brand of sweat-soaked, soaring indie rock.
Just two minutes in length, lead single ‘Brenda‘ balts out the gate at lightning speed, with a unique take on sun kissed mid noughties indie rock. Razor sharp guitar play and pop hooks brings to mind an early care-free Vampire Weekend, with a touch of the dreamlike vocal brilliance of The Futureheads. The sweet and understated vocals project the song to great heights making it catchier than lice at primary school.
The release is an exciting start to what should be a big 2018 for the band and is backed by the excellent bass driven groove of ‘Cant Stand You‘.
