London’s Weird Milk have perhaps come closer than any other band so far in 2017 in the search for a reciepe on how to bottle romance. Each of their releases so far this year kindly demand your attention and has the pull to turn even the thickest skinned lover into an emotional wreck.
Scratch beneath the surface of the sunbleached harmonies, and wind swept melodies to find a band piecing together the age-old mystery of romance, sonically set between 1960’s California and modern day London.
The bands most recent release “All Night”, holds a relective gaze harking back to the era of straight talking love song song writers The Beatles and The Beach Boys, whilst also touching upon the cinematic qualities of Scott Walker yet with their own jagged edge.
The band will play a release show at Birthdays in Dalston, London in celebation of the release of “All Night” on 15/08. The track is released through Ra-Ra Rok Records.
