Tune into ‘Feel’, the new garage-rock nugget by London-via-Milan’s Super Paradise.
Following on from the explosive energy of their previous single ‘6:30’, London-via-Milan garage-rock favourites Super Paradise have unveiled a new single named ‘Feel’ via Spring Chicken Records. It was produced by Euan Hinshelwood of Young Husband alongside Wesley Gonzales.
The band have coined their own term for their music, “Dream Garage” they say, I quite agree. ‘Feel’ encapsulates the grandeur of the band’s sound, placing one foot firmly in garage-rock representing the likes of Thee Oh Sees or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and the other in the washed out psych-pop dreams of Pond or Splashh.
What is apparent on their new single ‘Feel’, is a 90’s influence. Moby anyone? That world beating electric piano/ synth sound which made ‘Play’ a stand out record for the decade. The band capture the euphoric sounds of synth-pop, which acts as a dramatic build for their destructive tidal wave of dreamy psychedelia.
With every release Super Paradise grow their sound, ‘Feel’ is a new groove which takes you to a next level of consciousness, whilst still holding on to that which we hold dear.
