Hard Of Hearing presents: Tugboat Captain + Special Guests

IN OCTOBER WE HOST SOUTH LONDON DIY POP COLLECTIVE TUGBOAT CAPTAIN‘S BIGGEST EVER HEADLINE SHOW AT THE LEXINGTON, LONDON.

South London DIY pop collective Tugboat Captain have been bubbling under the surface of London’s talented underbelly for quite a while now. In October, they gear up for their biggest headline to date with a mammoth show at The Lexington.

Tugboat Captain are a rotating crew of friends and family, recording, rehearsing and releasing music out of a terraced house in South London. They released their recent single ‘Be Strong, Smoke Less’ on March 15th, followed by the band’s biggest and most ambitious DIY tour yet, spanning from Scotland down to Cornwall. The tour ended with a packed out homecoming show at East London institution The Victoria in April, which truly brought home the band’s reputation as an unstoppable live force. Being Hard Of Hearing’s largest ever turnout, we had to get together with the band to see if they wanted to do it all again – but on a grander scale!

Often compared to Belle and Sebastian and The Wave Pictures, the band have garnered a reputation for their riotous live shows and this October’s show at The Lexington promises to be no different. Support comes from London acts Living Island and Margot.

Join us for an evening which will celebrate a new wave of alternative pop promise. Tickets available via DICE below.
