Something Leather – ‘Disappear on Me’ – A haunting, house of horrors rock menace.

Brighton trio Something Leather unveil video for new single ‘Disappear on Me’ ahead of London show.

Brighton newcomers Something Leather have unveiled a video for their melodic house of horrors rock & roll number Disappear on Me.

Choppy riffs with plenty of meat on the bone, combine with carnival synths in the trio’s new release, ghostly vocals find space to haunt in between raucous waves of throttling alternative rock.

There’s melody in amongst the off-kilter chaos as the chorus of Disappear on Me puts you in a sonic stranglehold before throwing you gently down a dream-rock river of seduction. The vocals come on strong with all the delicate croon of The Kills Alison Mosshart as the track brakes down exposing the other side of the Something Leather coin, calm, delicate yet always threatening.

The band will take to the stage this coming Saturday (Aug 4th) at The Old Blue Last, London alongside garage rock five-piece Super Paradise in a show not to be missed.

5 minutes with… SILVA.

Super Paradise – ‘Sweat’ – A crushing wave of dreamlike garage rock.

WOOZE – ‘Hello Can You Go’ – A groove-addled, driving art-rock introduction.
