At the stroke of midnight on Halloween 2017 east London’s Philip Morgan Lewis released his album Grief Harbour. Jam-packed with scuzzy blues-rock numbers and at times more intimate and broken down moments, Grief Harbour was an all killer no filler blues-rock assault. One of the stand out moments on the record came in the form of Sinner, recently released on Moonalizer Records. With Sinner, Philip takes us down the smokey backstreet alleyways of blues rock, with a chorus that sticks to you like glue.
In the video we follow the rundown stomp of Sinner as Philip drags us through the streets of London, Margate, Amsterdam and Paris. The self-directed visual accompaniment to the single lies in the form of a neo-noir homage to Alan Parker‘s movie Angel Heart.
