The Shoreditch multi-venue festival returns on 25th July featuring Blue Bendy, SILVERWINGKILLER and much more.
Having sold out three years running, East London Block Party is generating rightful excitement as its fourth edition approaches this weekend. The Shoreditch multi-venue festival – which takes place across The Old Blue Last, Colours, Strongroom and Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes – has become a one-stop guide to some of the very best new live acts of the moment, from those whose appearances in such intimate spaces already appear vanishingly few to leftfield gems you won’t get elsewhere on the festival circuit. Block Party also promises more than just the music, with panel talks, artist Q&As, exclusive merch, secret sets and, this year, an acoustic pop-up stage all on the cards. Somehow all of this is fit into one day, this year’s edition falling on Saturday 25th July.
The lineup this year is tightly packed with some of the best live talent out there right now. Blue Bendy and SILVERWINGKILLER head things off. The former are by now a well-established but ever-evolving tour-de-force of clever songwriting and compositional ambition. The latter made their explosive entrance onto the live scene more recently, but already their forceful ‘electronic punk’, brought into focus by lyrics alternating between English, Mandarin and Shanghainese, is becoming one of the UK’s most exciting acts right now. They are joined by acts including Ain’t, thistle., Dreamwave and cruush, the later making a welcome return to the lineup after they were unable to perform in 2025. We are also excited to catch the likes of Truthpaste, Casual Smart and wing!, all exciting indie newcomers producing some of the most refreshing alternative music out there right now. Also worth seeing – for very different reasons – is the gentle baroque indie of Potato, and the immersive neo-glam of Canned Pineapple. Completing the bill are Private Regcords favourites kiosk as well as Bone China, heavy wild, Honest Work, MM’99 and a DJ set from The Horrors’ Faris Badwan.
Come prepared for a packed day of music, made possible by the close proximity of each venue and a schedule which kicks off at 1pm. The early waves of tickets are now all sold out, but there are still some remaining on final release here.
