The year for Waterbaby

In 2022 we released two singles Thin Air + No Caller id on Untitled Recs – the tracks were remixed by the talented producers BABii + Sofie Birch. We played lots of gigs, had our radio guest mix debut on the NTS early bird show + launched our No Subject zine into the world.

Album of the year

Sofie Birch – Holotropica

Sofie Birch’s ambient and experimental album Holotropica is a utopian and dream like lullaby. It has a beautiful healing quality that casts a spell on you and sends you in to a trance.

Song of the year

Jockstrap – Concrete Over Water

The unusual mesh of genres makes this track stand out. It is a fine art to successfully combine classic songwriting with experimental and boundary pushing sounds and Jockstrap have achieved this effortlessly here.
