Jockstrap have returned with a video for new single ‘Glasgow’, a story of destination and separation, an intriguing combination of glorious string sounds, acoustic guitar and Georgia Ellery’s devastating vocal delivery. The new single marks an anthemic art-pop direction, with the album penned for release later in 2022.
Taylor Skye notes that “‘Glasgow’ is our coming of age, moving forward, long-distance, traveling, beautiful bosk, wonderful thicket song,” Georgia Ellery adds, “Glasgow is a great city, perhaps my favourite in the UK. The only downside is that it’s so damn cold all the time.”
‘I Love You Jennifer B’ arrives via Rough Trade Records on September 9th.
