Communion and camaraderie: Left Of The Dial announces 21 new names.

Words: Karl Johnson

Part city holiday, part new music extravaganza, Rotterdam showcase festival Left Of The Dial may have it all for new music fans. It’s also the largest port outside of Asia, for your records. The multi-venue festival runs over three days, the 20th, 21st and 22nd of October and is accessible by Eurostar.

Whether it’s ‘Bands On A Boat’, which sees attendees float across the harbour while taking in some new live acts below deck, or mapping out your schedule between the city’s many grassroots DIY spaces and venues, Left Of The Dial is pro-artist and pro-music fan, even offering a print-to-order merch stand for bands that aren’t able to bring merch.

The festival, which harvests a no headliner policy, has announced 21 new artists to its 2022 line up, adding Bobbi Lu • BOYO • Brooke Combe • Chuckamuck • Die Verlierer • Dommengang • Geo • Hachiku • Hallan • Holm • Hotel Lux • Liiek • Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys • Michael Georgian • Mush • Odd Couple • Rifle • SKROETBALG • SNAYX • Trader and My Ugly Clementine.

In total 150 emerging artists from all over the world will take over the centre of Rotterdam, with gigs happening over 12 different stages. Find out the full line up and more info here.
