Arriving ahead of their upcoming album ‘FAULT LINES’ on Tin Angel Records, Canadian duo DELILUH have shared a tense and hypnotic new single in ‘Credence (Ash in the Winds of Reason)’. The unstoppable undercurrent of swirling noise from the nightmarish guitar sound and the relentless drumming finds a way to unlock your psyche, allowing the ghostly vocal presence to cloud your thoughts in a hazy brilliance – while being equally squeamish and perfectly on point in its subject matter.

The duo state that, “‘Credence (Ash In The Winds Of Reason)’ was a shared effort from our previous four piece iteration. The foundation was written and tracked together in Copenhagen in January of 2020, and then completed by the two of us between lockdowns almost a year later. The lyrics are from the perspective of a guilt stricken priest, grappling with a corrupt parish and the culpability of his faith.”

‘Credence (Ash In The Winds Of Reason)’ feels constantly in transit, both instrumentally and lyrically in its storytelling, the track evokes the sensation of being chased through an early hours dream state as you run through porridge, the feeling of impending doom unshakeable and constantly on your shoulder. One of the beautiful things about the duo’s craft is the feeling of being caught up in a tornado of mesmeric sounds and tangible emotion. Having recently relocated to Europe from their Toronto base, we look forward to seeing DELILUH on UK soil in June.
