Once you let Saloon Dion into your heart, it’ll feel like they’ve liked there forever. But at just three singles in, they are of course a very new prospect. Alongside the announcement that the Bristol/ London quintet have signed to Nice Swan Records, they’ve also unveiled new single ‘Hey Hey’, a percussion-led guitar stomp that flicks from euphoric gutter-rock to hooky, barbed and surging post-punk energy.

“None of us can claim to be perfect, we are all capable of both good and bad,” notes vocalist and synth player Dave Sturgess,“I found it interesting when writing this song to think about where certain traits of mine came from. There have certainly been times when I’ve stood by people who didn’t necessarily deserve it, and vice versa. We all carry with us certain destructive behaviours that can be damaging to ourselves and those around us if unchecked.”

Saloon Dion embark on a UK tour in April in support of the single, starting at Falmouth’s Cornish Bank on April 22 and ending in Bristol at The Exchange on May 6, playing a London date at The Shacklewell Arms on April 26th.
