September 1st-4th will see the return of End Of The Road Festival, a long weekend retreat of music, comedy, literature and everything good that surrounds a festival experience. Like any music festival worth its salt, the density of the talent on the line up already announced is enough to get your dopamine levels rising. While Pixies, Fleet Foxes, Bright Eyes and Khruangbin provide heavyweight headliners for each night, acts such as Kurt Vile and The Violators, black midi, Perfume Genius, Lucy Dacus, Greentea Peng and Kevin Morby will provide stiff competition for crossovers.
In terms of new music we’re spoilt for choice in Yard Act, Los Bitchos, Lynks, Porridge Radio, Wu-Lu, Scalping, NewDad and much much more. End Of The Road is also up for the ‘Best Small Festival’ at the NME Awards this year, showing the festival’s cult-like reputation isn’t reserved only for those in the know, but for the masses too.
