Since the mid-90s, The state51 Factory has hosted solstice parties, headphone festivals, photography shoots, pop quizzes, film nights, Q&As, art exhibitions and more, all in support of the wider arts community from its base in Brick Lane, London. Teaming up with London promoters Spilt Milk, the project brings together a new crop of artists that are turning heads in the capital’s bustling live scene. The challenge was straightforward, get each artist to perform a live, single-take performance with no drop ins, edits or cut aways.

The sessions arrive direct from record label and distributor The state51’s HQ, and will be broadcasted this coming October and November. The schedule runs as follows, 05/10 – Opus Kink, 07/10 – The Early Mornings, 12/10 – Gentle Stranger, 14/10 – Lou Terry, 19/10 – Jaws The Shark, 21/10 – BOSS, 26/10 – all cats are beautiful, 28/10 – Modern Woman, 02/11 – Rattletooth, 04/11 – Lime Garden, 09/11, – uh and 11/11 – Pozi.

New sessions will be released at 7pm every Tuesday and Thursday throughout October and November on the state51 YouTube Channel, check out the preview below.
