Black Yolk unveil a swirling electronic cut in ‘Tiger’, out on London label Claptrap.
In it’s element in the early morning hours as much as it is on a sun-kissed summer afternoon, Black Yolk unveil a swirling electronic cut in the form of Tiger, which forms part of the EP Self Help released digitally and on limited run cassette 17/03/18 .
The release follows on from Black Yolk – 1, an EP released through Claptrap in June of last year. The four tracks in question explored the vast plains of off-beat electronic music, minimal yet littered with crisp detail and vast and sprawling in the same breathe.
The release of Self-Help is well at home on London label Claptrap who have been running nights and sporadically putting out excellent tapes since 2016 and are home to the likes of Monaco_band001 and Vanity Project.
“Black Yolk begun his business career in may 1990 and started enjoying his resulting excessively luxurious lifestyle 2 days and 5 hours later. He maintained a good work ethic whilst he collaborated his future self who was sent back to stop him from using synths, drum machines, toys and musical instruments to express not himself but other people, ideas and other peoples ideas.”
