SINK YOUR TEETH INTO – GOLD CLASS – ALBUM: ‘DRUM’ – Part fight, part self realisation

Behind the raging rhythm section and constricting knots of guitar, lies sweet sentiments and well crafted imagery, perfectly in contrast.

The Melbourne four-piece present their second album ‘Drum‘, frontman Adam Curley deals with personal woes and lays himself bare through a veil of hard hitting post-punk, and at times, spacious intimate numbers. Part fight, part self realisation.

The frontman does to Gold Class what Morrissey did to The Smiths, bring beauty to sadness, relief to the unanswerable. Gold Class bring themselves to the forefront of important post-punk bands today, embracing fragility and with something very real to say.

The band will take to Moth Club in Hackney (26/09) to celebrate ‘Drum‘ this side of the world.
