The debut release by Bristol post-punk newcomers cuts deep with a heavy-hitting modern day angst.

Exploring the relationship between mental health and romantic love, Bristol’s hardest-hitting new post-punk outfit release their debut single, Disgraced. Recorded by bassist Benjamin Spike Saunders in his converted bedroom studio, the track comes in at just over two minutes and displays a love for intense post-punk noise.
The Bristol band’s dark and brooding debut digs into the emotional void crafted by The Cure, opting for an honest and emotionally charged approach to post-punk, relentless and angry yet healing in equal measure. Cruelty offer up their version of a lost relic from a time forgotten, the murky depths of early 80’s Goth-rock. Still essential nowadays, but someone just needs to take control, perhaps this could be it?
