The Wiltshire/Dorset festival are not messing around for their 20th Anniversary.
Given that at the tail end of 2025, End of the Road announced their biggest ever headliners in Pulp, CMAT and Mac DeMarco, the Wiltshire/Dorset festival could have been forgiven for sitting down and watching the ticket sales come rolling in until late summer. Alas, the always forward-thinking festival refuse to sit on their laurels. This week, they have announced another 113 names who will be joining the Larmer Tree Gardens wonderland in early September.
Spearheading the latest wave are Welsh legends Super Furry Animals, garage-deity Ty Segall and Philadelphia psych-folk chiller Kurt Vile. The near neverending treasure trove of riches that is the first full wave of the End of the Road line-up doesn’t end there though, and features quite the breadth of talent within its latest wave.
From the hyper-frantic electronic-tinged mania of the likes of Fat Dog, SILVERWINGKILLER, RIP Magic, PVA and Adult DVD, the more industrial in the New York YHWH Nailgun and Dublin-based M(h)aol cacophony, the hyper-funk sounds of Pigeon, the Moroccan psych-desert-blues riff-ripper Bab L’Bluz, the ever fun BCUC, caroline with their grand take on post-rock, the fantastical acid-folk of former Kikagaku Moyo member, Tomo Katsurada, experimental duo Milkweed, the glorious gloom-laden shoegaze of Just Mustard and TTSFFU, all the to the wonky psych-pop of Big Long Sun and electro–jangled indie crooner Westerman, End of the Road 2026 is already a showcase in astounding curation from top to bottom.
A festival that is never one to be slept on, it seems that End of the Road have once again raised their own high bar. With even more names to be announced, including a secret fourth headliner, its 20th anniversary looks like it might just be the festival’s best year yet.
