The Manchester dream rock newcomer shares some moments from her debut at the festival.

Having made it to the finals of Green Man’s Rising competition, TTSSFU earned a spot playing on the Rising Stage at the festival last month. She sent us through a handful of snapshots caught on camera surrounding her incredible dreamy set…

This photo is from when we first arrived in Wales at about 11;30. As soon as the tent went up we had a mooch around for beer – we felt cool to be at the backstage bar lol

This is me waiting to go on stage before my live recorded session. It felt kinda weird as the set was only 3 songs long and we went for the heavier ones so it was like straight into it instead of easing which we normally do , but people turned up and enjoyed it, I think?

This is me and my good pal Holly enjoying Lynks’ set. The last time I saw them was at future yard and there was only around 20 people or less there so to see them pack out the main stage early in the day was crazy and so cool, they was amazing.

This photo is from when Fat White Family’s Adam had to borrow my fuzz pedal as he forgot his. I hope it worked how he wanted it too even tho he seemed stressed that he hadn’t ever used this pedal before, however I will say the lead sounded a bit reverbed out (great). If that was my doing id never know, but set was jepic.

This is me around 6 in the morning after waking up, heavy night.

This photo is probably the best of the weekend , I never thought in my life I’d meet John maus never mind see him live however I did. John Maus has been one of my biggest musical inspirations since I was 13, I used to listen to his music everyday and night just fascinated by it and I was happy I got the chance to talk to him about that. One of my all time favourite songs is “Believer ” by him, if you saw me ugly cry to it in the crowd, no you didn’t .
