It’s taken from their forthcoming LP ‘Coat of Arms,’ the track is a riffing, motorik blast.

There must be something in the seaside air as both Brighton and Falmouth have been hotbeds for garage-rock in the UK for some time now. It is really rather fitting that Holiday Ghosts, one of the acts leading the way in that regard, draw members from both coastal regions.
The prolific outfit have shared their latest ripper, ‘Sublime Disconnect’, taken from their forthcoming fifth LP ‘Coat in Arms’, released by fellow Brightonians Fat Cat Records. The single combines Acid Western garage-rock, whilst leaning into the lyrical cadence and motorik rhythms of ‘Mind Fuzz’ era King Gizzard and their California counterparts Osees, Indeed, the band feel like the UK’s answer to these era-defining bands, at the least in terms of output and work ethic. It’s some truly splendid scuzzed out jangly rock ‘n’ roll – real good time DIY music.
In the same spirit, the accompanying video draws on what the band perceived in classic punk videos of the 70s, an attitude they describe as, “Right, the kids have got your single, now they need to see what you guys look like playing innit.”
